A French photographer and balloonist, Nadar, laid the groundwork of aerial photography and captured Paris on board a hot air balloon. Over the years, this photography became acclaimed in aspects of environmental studies, physiographic, archeology, town planning, commercial development and other several fields. From middle 1900’s to present, this type of photography has provided scientific data about the Earth, moon, and other celestial bodies. You may discover low contrast lighting conditions to be amicable for monochrome or black and white photography.
